About Me
My name is Officer Tony Littles, I started my public safety career in 1989 in New York City working for a local security firm, from there I began working at JFK airport and then World Trade Center.
I served as a police officer for several departments in the great state of South Carolina starting with, St. George Police Dept., Ridgeville Police Dept., Colleton County Sheriff's Office, Walterboro Police Dept., Aiken County Sheriff's Office, and Williston Police Dept. After serving 20 plus years, I retired from Williston Police dept., in Barnwell County. In the 20 years as a police officer, I have held many positions. From D.A.R.E, Warrants Division, C.E.R.T Team, Community Services, Mountain Bike Patrol, Courtroom Security and more. I have a Masters in Criminal Justice Administration and an Associates in Fire Science. I enjoy teaching. This course gives me the opportunity to share with the students what I know about the law. It also helps those students who are truly giving great thought to being a police officer in the future. My hope is that this course helps students understand that police work isn't all about car chases, foot chases, shootings, etc. Hopefully, they learn that law enforcement is 5% foot and car chases and 95% paperwork. My ultimate goal is that they finish this course understanding that law enforcement is a service to the citizens and that their sacrifice may not get notice and because of that reason you must love to serve others no matter what!!!! If you need to contact me for any reason, please call me at 803-259-5512 (between 1:15pm-3:00 pm), or you can email me at [email protected]. |
